I always did my own fills, so I can’t tell you how much they cost — which also neatly answers your first question.
The largest expander shell on the market to the last of my most recent knowledge was 2500cc, if I remember right.
The largest silicone is 1445cc, which is essentially nothing; if you are stopping at the limits of silicone, do not do expanders.
The largest saline shells are, iirc, 2000cc, and can be overfilled to.. a lot. I was fine at 6000cc.
Expanders are more expensive and vanishingly few surgeons do them. They ARE prone to complications, and if you DM me your contact info (email, discord, whatever) I will send you some videos from the OR I had my surgeon take where he explains what can go wrong.
Your limit and fill rate are determined by your body and time… MOSTLY. Ultimately how much you can fill is based on how much room there is. How much skin you have, how much space in the tissue pocket as you expand. However, there is an undefinable life limit on fills; you WILL have to replace your fill ports if you go hard on doing them too often. This is explained in the video.
